Mirapoint Certified Directory Engineer (MCDE) Overview
Course Description
This Mirapoint Certification will familiarize you with the LDAP protocol and various operational aspects of Mirapoint's Directory Server to offer enhanced Mirapoint Support. Specifically, you will learn how to setup, configure, populate and troubleshoot Mirapoint's directory server.
The course is designed to:
- Introduce the LDAP protocol.
- Describe how the Directory Server works.
- Introduce advanced topics such as Replication, ACLs and Indexing.
Course Goals
After completing this Mirapoint Certification course, you will be able to administer Mirapoint's Directory Server product. These skills allow you to take/escalate direct customer calls and obtain privileged information for Mirapoint Support.
Student Profile and Prerequisites
You should have a general knowledge of LDAP, UNIX and e-mail. Although not a prerequisite, hands on experience with LDAP, UNIX and e-mail is recommended.
