Jeff Witous

CEO, Mirapoint Software

Mr. Witous joined the company in November, 2007, following the recapitalization of Mirapoint by HighBAR Ventures, Keynote Ventures, and W Capital.

In 1999, Jeff co-founded Ameritege Technology Partners, a private equity firm, focused on investments in enterprise technology companies. As General Partner there, he completed more than a dozen successful investments and acquisitions in both start-up and late stage enterprise technology companies. As a hands-on investor, Jeff has taken operational responsibility as CEO for two portfolio companies and co-founded three others. The Ameritege portfolio has experienced a number of strategic exits and today maintains four profitable growth companies.

In 1993, Jeff co-founded TriTeal Corporation, an enterprise desktop software, security, and infrastructure company that he took public in 1996. From 1988 to 1993, he was a National Business Development Manager for Sun Microsystems. Prior to that, Jeff held various business development and management positions with Digital Equipment Corporation and 3M Company.

He holds a B.S. Degree from California Polytechnic State University and has participated in executive management programs at Stanford University and the University of California. In addition to Mirapoint, Jeff serves on the Boards of Mainsaver Software, Assist Cornerstone Technologies and LCA Educational Foundation.

Roy Thiele-Sardiña

General Partner, HighBAR Ventures

Mr. Sardiña is a successful venture capitalist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of investment and operating experience in the technology industry.

He recently was Managing Director at Steelpoint Capital (a spin-out of the private equity group of Moore Capital Management). He initiated the firm's infrastructure investments in storage and security, including investments in Promptu, Boingo Wireless, Storactive (acquired by Atempo), Workshare, Arkivio, SNAP and Privasys.

Previously, Mr. Sardiña was a highly regarded operating executive. He was co-founder & CEO of Ingrian Networks, a leading data privacy provider, and co-founder and CEO of Tasmania Network Systems, a cache proxy company (acquired by Cisco). He was also a member of the founding management team for Brocade Communications Systems (NASDAQ:BRCD). As Brocade's Vice President of Sales and Business Development, he signed the company's original OEM agreements.

Mr. Sardiña holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.B.A. from New York University, Stern School of Business.

Paul C Dali

Managing General Partner, Keynote Ventures

Mr. Dali is a founder and the managing principal of KeyNote Ventures. Prior to this venture, he was founder and managing general partner of Dali, Hook Partners, Convergence Partners and a general partner of Nazem & Co. and 3i Ventures.

He is a successful, progressive and visionary investor who was responsible for backing one of the first companies to put sound on computers (MediaVision), and one of the first companies to use the Internet for enterprise level network security and updates (Cybermedia). Because of his operating background, experience and current business conditions, Mr. Dali is focusing on enterprise software and the "real time enterprise".

Prior to his career in venture capital, he had 23 years of operating experience that included building Regis McKenna into the largest high tech marketing and communications company as its CEO, and serving as vice president and general manager of the PC Division of Apple Computer and chairman of its marketing council.

Both his operating and venture capital background have made Mr. Dali an invaluable member of the Board of Directors, or Board of Advisors, on which he currently serves, which include Blazent, Loadstar Sensors, Precoad, UltraDots and Mirapoint. He was also a board member of Cybermedia, MediaVision, Storm Software, @POS and Repeater Technology, all previously public companies. In addition, he was a board member of BroadWare Technologies (sold to Cisco) and Webify (sold to IBM). His experience and reputation as the "Godfather of Multimedia VC Business" (Red Herring, June 1993) has made him a sought-after speaker on marketing, entrepreneurism and venture capital.

Mr. Dali has a BS degree in finance from California State University.

John Kim

Vice President, W Capital Partners

Prior to W Capital Partners, Mr. Kim was Director of Corporate Development at Zeborg, a software company spun off from The Mitchell Madison Group, and previously was Director of Investments at ISL Management, a venture capital firm funded by JPMorganChase. John also worked as a venture capital professional for Millennium Technology Ventures.

For three years, John was an investment banker with JPMorganChase and Robertson Stephens, where he was involved in leveraged finance and merger and acquisition transactions across sectors including technology, financial and healthcare services and industrials.

John holds an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from The University of Chicago.
